How to Create a WebMail Email Account in cPanel Hosting Manager

The first thing to do is select the “Email accounts” icon underneathe the Mail section on your cPanel homepage.

You should be taken to a page where you can fill out the details of the email account you wish to create including the name, the domain (if you host multiple domains), and password for the email account.

Once you have filled in this information to your satisfaction, you can press “Create Account”, and it will create the email account for you (duh!).

Now that your email account has been created, you can access it using one of the webmail clients of your choice. You can do this by returniing to the cPanel homepage and clicking the Webmail icon, again under the email section.

Here you will be taken to a few intermediate pages, the first one is rather pointless, and you can just click the “go to webmail login” icon.

The second screen is where you can choose which email client you would like to use to view and send your email. You can choose between Hoarde, Squirrelmail and Roundcube. This is your choice and you can pick whichever you like. I prefer Hoarde myself, but you can experiment with the different email clients and pick one that you like.

Finally you will be taken to the login page for the webmail client you selected. Simply enter the username and password that you used to create the email account earlier.

If you have done everything correctly, you should now be logged in and ready to send and receive emails from your own web hosting.
